Frequently asked questions
How do I restore my purchase?
Open LUMA, go to the unlock card (it appears when you reach the end of the free chapter, and in Settings) and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you used to buy. No internet connection? Connect and try again; the store needs to confirm the purchase.
How much of the game is free?
The first chapter, twelve gardens, is free. One purchase, The Whole Journey, unlocks everything else in the game. There are no ads and no subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Apple and Google handle payments, so they handle refunds too. On Apple, go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, pick LUMA and tap Request a refund. On Google Play, open your order history and follow Google's refund steps. Our terms contain the details, and we are happy to help if the unlock does not work.
Does LUMA collect my data?
No. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your progress is stored on your device only. See the privacy policy for the full statement.
Will my progress move to a new phone?
Progress lives on your device. If you use iCloud Backup (iPhone and iPad) or Android Backup, it may be restored with your device backup. Purchases always return through Restore Purchases.
I am stuck in a garden. What can I do?
Tap the small lantern icon for a hint. The hint light shows where to look, never the full solution, and every garden can be solved with it. Tip: turn the view slowly. In LUMA two paths that look far apart can meet.
Which devices and languages are supported?
iPhone and iPad with a current version of iOS or iPadOS (see the store listing for the exact minimum), and Android phones and tablets. LUMA speaks English, German, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, Spanish, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese; it follows your device language and can be changed in Settings.
Is LUMA suitable for children?
Yes. It is rated 4+ (PEGI 3, USK 0). There is no violence, no chat, no advertising and no purchase pressure. Parents can use Ask to Buy or Family Link to control the one purchase.
Does LUMA work offline?
Yes. Only buying or restoring the unlock needs a connection.
Is the game accessible?
LUMA supports reduced motion, large text where possible, and a hint light that keeps every puzzle solvable. If something blocks you, please write to us. We read every message.
Where is LUMA II?
In the making. LUMA II (London) and LUMA III (America) will follow as separate games.
Can I use screenshots or record videos?
Yes, please do. Streams, videos and reviews are welcome. Just mention the game and Nami Shams Game Studios.
